The purpose of Onyx Initiative is to expand the Black Talent pipeline by fostering cohesive, mutually beneficial partnerships to close the systemic gap in the recruiting and selection of Black university and college students and recent graduates for roles in corporate Canada.
The Black is Me Collection project is born out of the need to support other Black people and help continue the conversation. Proceeds from every shirt sold will be donated on a monthly basis to different Black Canadian organizations, projects, and communities.
The Black Talent Initiative’s mission is to champion for an equitable system for young Black Canadians in the business industry through mentorship and - most importantly - opportunities. BTI aims to reshape careers for young Black Canadians through a community of established professionals, resources and networks.
